Frequently Asked Questions
Can I start with group classes if I have never done Pilates before?
For your safety and the best learning experience, we kindly require all newcomers to Pilates equipment classes to begin with our private Welcome Journey. These one‑to‑one sessions allow us to assess your needs, introduce the fundamentals, and tailor the work to your goals. After completing the Welcome Journey, you'll feel confident and ready to join group classes. Yoga classes can be joined without the Welcome Journey — simply book a spot and begin.
What if I'm not familiar with the equipment or exercises?
No problem. Your instructor will explain and demonstrate each exercise, guide proper technique and alignment, and offer modifications as needed so you feel comfortable and supported.
When should I be at the studio?
For your first visit, please arrive about 10 minutes before class. This gives time to settle in, ask questions, and get changed—so you can enjoy a calm, unhurried start to your practice.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
Wear comfortable, form‑fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Please avoid pants with zippers to protect the equipment and keep you comfortable.
Can Pilates help with injury rehabilitation?
Yes. Pilates' focus on core support, controlled movement and alignment can help reduce pain, improve mobility and restore function after injury or surgery. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting; we tailor sessions to your needs.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
No equipment needed—we provide all props and apparatus. Just bring yourself ❤️
How often should I attend Pilates classes?
It depends on your goals and schedule. As a starting point, two sessions per week typically brings noticeable gains in strength, mobility and well‑being. Consistency matters most—build a rhythm that works for you.
Can I do Pilates during pregnancy?
Pilates can be safe and beneficial during pregnancy. Please consult your healthcare provider first. We can adapt exercises and breathing techniques to support your changing body.
