Fiorella
Founder and Pilates Teacher
I started my professional career at the age of 8 with Nela Frexas ex Soloist at “Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires” and then I began my studies at the “Instituto Superior de Artes del Teatro Colon” in Buenos Aires.
At the age of 16, I participated in a summer intensive programme and won a scholarship, which prompted me to move to NYC to finish my studies as a Ballet Dancer at the “Joffrey Academy of Dance”.
During my professional life as a dancer, performing in companies all over the world, I started practicing Pilates as a complement to my training. When I suffered a back injury that almost prevented me from returning to the stage, Pilates became my best friend.
I did my Pilates teacher trainings at Polestar Pilates Education(R), and then I continued my studies at “Academia Irpa“ where I trained more specifically in Classical Pilates.
I have completed studies also in the area of physiotherapy and I am specifically interested in merging the Pilates technique with knowledge coming from other disciplines, with the goal of having a more holistic and precise approach to injuries.
Amaya
Co-Manager and Pilates Teacher
I discovered my passion for movement when I started dancing at the age of 5. In the many years I spent as a dancer on stage, my constant goal was always to deliver the best performance. Eventually, I reached a point where I sought additional exercises to enhance my dance stability and further increase my performance.
Having to deal with pain and my scoliosis, I found my way to Pilates, opening up an entirely new world for me. The body control acquired through Pilates significantly elevated my dance skills.
Since then, I have continued my ongoing learning and training. With over 20 years of experience in dance and my role as an instructor, I leverage my knowledge to help my students achieve their goals.
Through my work, I strive to find a balance between the precision required for positive changes in alignment and strength- and mobility.
I regularly engage in personal training, continuously educate myself, and love assisting my students in better understanding their bodies and in moving effectively. In my classes, I am dedicated not only to imparting knowledge but also to supporting each person’s individual goals.
